Motorcycle Helmet sizing:
The helmet must fit properly with the chin strap securely fastened and provide adequate peripheral vision and safety.
Measuring your head is only the starting point to obtaining proper sizing. Everyone's head is different! Heads that measure the same size may not fit the same size helmet.
A cloth measuring tape may be used or a string, which can then be laid against a metal measuring tape.
Measure your head approximately one inch above your eyebrows and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements. The largest measurement is the one you want to try on first. If you use a balaclava or head sock, always measure and fit the helmet with it on. Use the sizing chart in the pictures found on this page to determine the size that best matches the measurement you got from your head.
